You Ask Me?

What habits should I pursue?
The good one’s that made me grow.
But I am not bamboo.
Compare me with my toe.

Why should I do that?
Because you’re not a bat.
Two things can’t make right.
They’re only there with might.

What might is that?
The forces of a bat.
Without a ball?
Without being tall.

Now we’re talking beans.
You mean the kind you eat?
I mean the kind we meet
that surprise you with their feet.

If they have a soul
that fixes to a heal.
That gives it sex appeal.
Like a hole or a pole?

Are we talking about shape
or a being if you may?
Try measuring it with tape
or stripping it down to weigh.

What poundage would you approve?
The ideal one to grove.
The one that I could love.
The one that I could shove.

They’re all about us now
feeling and asking how
I or we work.
No, nobody will shirk!

As long as we’re alive
something makes us strive
inside and out.
Hey, what’s this all about?
