Dance!

Sole come descend upon
such an insignificant one.
The pain will be short. Come!
Little ones left behind
keep coming blind.

Heel don’t worry if sole missed.
Chances are you’ll make amends.
We squashed won’t set trends.
Others keep coming. It never ends.
Do a dip, slip, and be kissed.

What a dance! Some kind of Tango?
Pass band and pluck a guitar.
Cast castanets and bang bongo.
Kick up heels. What do you care?
Tantalizing Beauty you’re dark and fair.

Spin me chin me cast me on top.
Lower me to the ceiling and then stop.
You’re incredible. I wish I knew
who you are and what to do.
For I’m just an ant in your shoe.
