From Inner Space

Eyes don’t trick me. I’ve got enough on my mind.
Nose don’t push me. My ears aren’t blind.
Every sense is on edge.
To the brain I’m making a pledge:
No substance abuse to lift my soul!
Words are enough to have and to hold.
They sail over the dark blue sea
I’m in a whirl of enormity!

But do I want that or something more?
Part the ceiling beyond the door.
The power of will to resist.
Or die for you in lasting bliss
for freedom in all In blister and hiss?

Open your eyes and don’t resist
a call for more than the universe.
Then leave not being fully pissed.
Soil wherever you traverse.
