Hurry On

Hurry day hurry night.
Hurry hurry hurry.
Part the day part the flight.
Worry worry worry.

Where am I? Where are you
in this soddened rain?
Past the furry for what grew.
What becoming came?

Amazing how the birds
act up and fly right.
Could it be gestured words
tip them off in flight?

Yesterday I summersaulted.
It was your fault not mine.
You flipped a wing. I halted.
In mid-air the sublime!

Coocoo doddle do
Or was it awk awk awk?
If only I knew
animal talk

I’d woo beyond words.
Flipflop in the air
Words would come in herds
to the largest hairiest fare

and flipflop all about
in the heavens not in sand.
Then every soul would shout
when two flew off with the band.
