Some Tips

Scan for five minutes.
If nothing jumps out you’re dead.
Now move along until you’re stuck
Pace to and fro in your head.
Do a flipflop but sail on
to the tune of a word about to be song.
Remember if an elephant has ears
and an oak barks at sunset,
you can relate to your heart’s desire
and give it some kind of logic.
It’s an exercise of the will that won’t be intimidated.

Just make that final call:
“All ashore going to shore”
And forget where that came from.
There’s no such thing as space
The random’s in tandem
with some kind of grace,
Furthermore know when to end.
Now get out there and yawn!
You’ve got something to do:
Mend the clouds with blue.
Fill the waters with fish.
Wrap a pillow around your ears
And go to sleep not yet
but when you’re finished.
